A Fresno County home is a total loss after a house fire spread quickly across it's wood shingle roof.
Flames broke out on Heather Lane near Shaw and Academy. Fire officials say the homeowner was in the shower when the fire started. An electrical problem in the attic caused the fire. Damage is estimated at $300,000.
Eight of 12 dogs living at the home were rescued, four died.
