It turns out that you can put a price on success and it may not be as far away as you would imagine. That’s because in a recent survey, three-quarters of workers said they did not need to have a six-figure salary to feel successful.

In fact, the magic number for workers was a salary between $50,000 and $70,000. Just fewer than 30% of workers said that they would feel successful if they were earning a salary in that range while 23% of workers said that a salary less than $50,000 would make them successful. Only one in 10 workers said that $150,000 a year would make them a success.
