Free hugs were handed out to veterans, visitors and patients at the Fresno VA Tuesday.
Tuesday is National Free Hugs Day. Students from the Fresno Paul Mitchell School gave free hugs to people at the VA Hospital.
Hundreds of hugs were given out. Paul Mitchell students were excited to be able to return this year to say thank you to veterans for their service and sacrifice.
Paul Mitchell schools around the nation headed to popular spots to offer hugs and make people's day.
