Many valley residents headed out of town for Thanksgiving. Airports, train stations, and highways saw plenty of traffic over the weekend.

At the Fresno Airport, officials say all flights were at capacity. Freeways in the valley were more congested than usual, and Amtrack looked at what may have been a record number of riders.

In Los Angeles, a number of LAX workers protested near the airport. That delayed holiday travelers trying to leave the L.A. area for Thanksgiving. Fresno Airport travelers saw delays to and from LAX.

CHP conducted its Thanksgiving maximum enforcement period through Sunday.
