District Attorney to Review Kidnapping Case Friday

Charges for a man accused of assaulting a 10-year-old girl will be up for review Friday by the Fresno District Attorney.

Kalvin Cardenas was arrested Wednesday morning after a three hour stand off with police. Cardenas faces kidnapping and assault charges. This also reopens the case for Dinuba Police.

Cardenas was arrested back in May on suspicion of trying to lure girls into his truck. It's possible Cardenas could face charges in Tulare County as well.

The Fresno Sheriff needs your help now. Detectives are actively looking for the little girl's bike helmet and backpack. The backpack is actually purple in color. They're also searching for a blanket belonging to Cardenas.
