Fresno Police are on the scene of a murder investigation in east Central Fresno.
Police say a hispanic male in his mid-30's was found laying face down in front of his apartment at Mayfair and Normal just before 8pm.
When officers arrived, they tried to revive the man, but, no luck.
Lt. Mike Doyle, Fresno Police: "He was transported to crmc where he is deceased. We are investigating this as a homicide because of some trauma to his mid section."
Police aren't saying much else about the man's injury.
But they are looking into an incident two doors down from the victim's apartment last night.
But it's not known if the two incidents are related.
