(Press Release) Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives are currently investigating a burglary which occurred at the home of Chicago Cubs pitcher, Matt Garza.
On Tuesday afternoon, deputies were dispatched to Garza’s residence located in rural Fresno County regarding the burglary.
The investigation thus far has determined that the break in occurred sometime between the afternoon of January 26th, and late Tuesday morning.
The complete property loss has not been determined at this time. However, notably missing was Garza’s 2008 American League Championship ring earned while playing with the Tampa Bay Rays. The ring is engraved with his full name on the inside and is described as having several white diamonds and one yellow diamond. The ring is valued at $30,000.
A possible suspect vehicle was seen leaving the home and is described as a white colored pickup truck with a female passenger.
