A soccer clinic brings a Major League Soccer player to the valley.

Colorado Rapid player Marcelo Balboa visited with students from Lowell Elementary in Fresno. He was here to teach kids the importance of eating healthy and being active. Monday after school, some of the kids had the chance to pick up some soccer skills and be educated on eating right and staying healthy.

"We talked to them about soccer, and we talked to them about eating healthy. That's the biggest thing a lot of kids don't have right now is healthier eating. I think the important thing too, is an hour of exercise every day. It's always very important, it's something that we don't do much with Xbox and TV."

The soccer clinic was put on by Fresh & Easy.
