Man Accused of Stabbing, Killing Fresno Woman Makes Court Appearance

The man accused of fatally stabbing a woman and injuring a Fresno police officer says he didn't do it.

Twenty six year old Michael Crockell entered a not guilty plea this morning in a Fresno courtroom. Police say Crockell killed Lisa Gilvary at a Tower District apartment last week.

He's also accused of stabbing another woman and a police officer who was called to the scene.

Crockell is facing, murder, attempted murder and burglary charges. His bail was denied and he's set to be back in court on October 16th.
