(Press Release) On Saturday morning at about 10:30 a.m., Corcoran Police officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Dairy Avenue for report of a sexual battery.
When officers arrived they talked the victim who reported she was inappropriately touched by a man, who was later identified as 23-year-old Joseph Velasquez IV.
During the investigation it was also determined that Velasquez had been stalking and harassing the woman for about a year. He was located and arrested for sexual battery and stalking, and booked into the Kings County Jail, where he is being held on $125,000 bail.
