How far would you go for an heiress and a slice of pizza?

A North Carolina man barricaded himself in his hotel room and refused to come out until his two demands were met - pizza and a marriage proposal from Paris Hilton.

Fredrick Denney threatened to open fire on the police while he was locked in his Hampton Inn room in Belmont, N.C., Saturday morning , WCNC-TV reports.

Several agencies, including the Regional SWAT Team, responded to the incident and closed off the second floor of the hotel as they tried to negotiate with Denney.

Authorities attempted to reason with the 61-year-old for hours until they finally pepper sprayed him and cuffed him.

Denney allegedly caused a unspecified disturbance in the hotel hours before the stand-off incident.
