(WTOV-9) An Ohio father accused of stuffing his 3-year-old child in a clothes dryer and turning it on as a form of punishment was arraigned in court on Thursday afternoon.
Jamial Bayly, 40, is charged with felony domestic violence after initially being charged with child endangerment
Officials investigating the incident then increased the charges against Bayly to the felony count.
Guernsey County sheriff's deputies responding to the man's home in Cambridge, about 80 miles east of Columbus, for a "well-being check" found the boy had been placed in the dryer as a form of punishment but had suffered no injuries.
The Guernsey County sheriff said Bayly was convicted in 1999 of domestic violence against a child.
