This is what the Two Cities Marathon and Half expo is all about: Picking up your race packets...
Well, that, the free swag, and sweet deals on running gear.
Aaron Samansky, Owner, Sierra Running Co.: "It's not just a place to pick up your number and your shirt. It's a place where maybe you can find some great deals on some cool running stuff, the latest thing. You hang out, talk about the race, maybe what you're going to do."
And that's what it's really about...
This is where runners begin to get psyched up for the big run on sunday.
"If you go into the event thinking that i'm just going to have a good time, then you're going to have a good time. If you're undertrained and you want to set a world record, well, that's probably not going to happen."
But it doesn't mean you can't finish.
You've got a full marathon, two half marathons, a half marathon relay, a team challenge, and a kids mini marathon, which happens Saturday at Chukchansi Park.
For some, it's the race, but for others, the expo is the best part of the weekend.
And you can bet the cancellation of the New York Marathon, because of Hurricane Sandy, will be on the hearts and minds of runners, as they begin their race Sunday.
You can watch your friends and family cross the finish line of the Two Cities Marathon and Half live on our Weatherplus channel starting Sunday at 7am.
