For many Fresno parents; Catholic school is a great option for their children. Now, one of those options is being taken away.

Sacred Heart Elementary School is closing it's doors in June. A local Bishop cited high overhead costs and low enrollment.

That's not true for all ages at Sacred Heart. Parents often have a difficult time placing their kindergarten-age children.

This fall the number of Catholic Elementary Schools in Fresno will be down to four. Many of them also face declining enrollment.

Good news for the children at Sacred Heart who need to transfer. Although the future of the elementary school's staff remains uncertain.
