Merced Statue Dedicated to Stayner, Missing Children

Steven Stayner made national headlines when he escaped from his kidnapper after nearly eight years. On Saturday, the city of Merced honored his life and his work to find other missing children by dedicating a statue in his honor at Applegate Park.
