Murder Charges for Man Who Attacked, Cut Unborn Baby from Wife's Stomach

Jeffery Reynolds attacked his pregnant wife with a sharp object and cut their unborn child from her body.

A man who allegedly stabbed his pregnant wife in the stomach and cut out their unborn child, has been charged with feticide and second degree attempted murder.

The 28-year-old woman was seven months pregnant when she was attacked by her husband Jeffrey Reynolds, 31, who removed the child from her abdomen with a sharp object.

The unborn baby died and the woman remains in hospital after the incident in Livingston, Louisiana.
