Erin Nelson is just 20-years-old, but she's already done something only a handful of people have ever done.

Just a little under two years ago, Nelson started her two wheeled journey around the globe right here in Fresno. She then made her way through the U.S. Flew to England and rode through Europe, the Middle East, India, China and Southeast Asia. After heading through Australia, she flew up to Canada and finished her trek Monday back in Fresno.

"The funnest parts I remember was being in Australia, and then I really liked Germany a lot. And New York was great."

During an average ride, Erin covered anywhere from 65 to 85 miles a day. And as you might imagine, she experienced quite a bit. She biked through over 30 countries, was denied entry once. Jailed in Hungary, fell off a cliff and broke her wrist in Palestine and has eaten some interesting things, including dog and cockroach.
