The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident between a tanker truck full of diesel fuel and a passenger car.
Officers say the accident happened Sunday night near Jensen and West Avenues, when the driver of a car lost control and swerved into the way of an oncoming truck.
The passenger of the car was killed, the car's driver was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
A hazmat crew was called out to clean up the spill of about 70 gallons of diesel fuel.
