When authorities served a search warrant at a Stockton man's house, they found what they expected -- weapons, ammunition and drugs -- but they also discovered a photo of his 6-year-old son holding a gun while saddled into a car seat.

Authorities uncovered thousands of rounds of ammunition, 74 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 10.8 grams of cocaine.

The child has been turned over to Child Protective Services, police said Thursday afternoon.

Raul Gonzalez, 22, was at the center of an ongoing gun and narcotics investigation Wednesday when the Stockton Police Department and another law enforcement team arrested him.

They had uncovered an assault rifle, a handgun, gun magazines, drug and drug paraphernalia, including ecstasy pills and more than $2,000 in drug-related materials, officials said.

As officers continued their search, they located an iPhone that had a wallpaper photo of the 6-year-old boy pointing a gun as he sat in a car seat.

Police believe the photo is the same one they uncovered in Wednesday’s raid, which also led to the arrest of Stockton resident Ricardo Gonzalez, 18.

Community Response Team Officers assisted in the investigation. Authorities uncovered thousands of rounds of ammunition, 74 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 10.8 grams of cocaine.
