Pink Penalty Flags Will Fly Sunday in NFL, Thanks to Kid's Letter

The referees will be throwing pink penalty flags at this Sunday’s Dolphins-Jets game, thanks to a kid named Dante Cano.

The New Jersey 11-year-old had an idea and took it straight to the top, writing a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell asking if he “could use my idea of pink penalty flags in October for breast cancer awareness.”

Dante asked the big cheese to write back, and his inspiring idea not only earned his whole family free tickets to the game, but also a pat-on-the-back tweet from Goodell: “Great idea Dante. We’ll do it Sunday @ the Jets game & you can deliver them to the officials.
