A gang member wanted for several violent crimes is now in police custody. David Sanchez was found at a home in central Fresno.
Officers arrived to find that Sanchez fled and ran into another house. He then went into the attic to hide, but soon surrendered to Fresno police. He was taken to the hospital for cuts he received while trying to escape, then booked into the Fresno County Jail.
