You have your nannies, your mannies, your au pairs and your baby sitters, but ... pythons?
Meet Chan Liu, a Chinese dad who has found that the best caretaker for his 13-year-old son Azhe is a 15-foot-long, 220-pound python. Boy and snake are best of friends — they kiss and cuddle — and Azhe says his slithery pal is "very careful with me and never squeezes too hard."
The boy’s father brought the snake home six years before his son was born, hatching it from an egg and raising it. After Azhe was born, Chan said he realized the snake wasn’t going to harm his son, so he was left alone with the snake and the pair became inseparable.
