The man wanted for a series of robberies throughout Fresno has finally been arrested.

Fresno police took 32 year old Willie Murphy into custody this morning.

They found him hiding out at a home on Hamilton in southeast Fresno.

Police say murphy confessed to the robberies, the first of which happened at a Subway restaurant at Bullard and Blackstone.

He's also accused of robbing a Blimpies in the Tower District, a book store at Palm and Bullard, a convenience store, a TCBY, and a Papa Murphy's.

Police say the suspect preyed on lone female clerks.

According to police, murphy says he targeted women because they were passive.

He also admitted to using meth, and that he used a BB gun in the robberies.

Police say he is an AB 109 inmate who was released early.

He was taken to jail again, charged with six counts of robbery.
