Storm Does Not Forecast Year

Rain had people taking cover all over the Central Valley. It's been a welcome sight for farmers.

We've had below average precipitation over the past year. Drought-like conditions have many people hoping we'll see more wet weather in 2013.

This is not an El Nino or La Nina year. So, experts say that makes it tough to predict.

An editor for the "Farmers Almanac" says 2013 will be about average for Central California. Compared to 2012, that means more rain is in store.
