Corcoran SATF Inmate Murdered

There was a homicide at SATF Corcoran Wednesday. Two inmates are being held as suspects.

The incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. 34-year-old inmate Hector Juarez was pronounced dead at an outside hospital.

The prison has named inmates Michael Romero and Ramon Chavez as suspects. They've been placed in the prison's segregation unit.

Juarez was serving a 14-year sentence for first-degree burglary. Romero and Chavez are both serving life sentences for second and first degree murder.
