28-year-old Marshall Voravong walked into the Fresno County Jail at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday night, and turned himself in. He's facing murder charges in the death of Sammy Mercado. Police say Mercado was shot and killed in April in front of a marijuana field in south Fresno County.

Two other suspects are already in custody: Michael Voravong, Marshall's brother, was arrested over the weekend. He too is facing murder charges, and Ernie Chanmany was recently arrested in Utah. Where he was allegedly found to be in possession of over 100 pounds of marijuana.

He is facing accessory to murder charges. Chanmany led detectives to a body that is under analysis to see if it is indeed Sammy Mercado. That DNA analysis is expected to take 4 to 6 weeks.
