Girl With Cerebral Palsy Banned From Using Her Walker at School

(Daily Mail) A schoolgirl who suffers from cerebral palsy has been banned from using her walker at school because teachers claim it is unsafe.

5-year-old LaKay Roberts needs the walker to get around and has used it at Kings Manor Elementary School, in Kingwood, Texas, for the past two years.

But when the contraption collapsed causing her to fall in the parking lot, the school's head of special needs said she would have to leave it at home to keep the other children safe.
