(Press Release) Late Tuesday morning, a person walking on the eastside of Martin Luther King Jr. Way near the fairgrounds, found what looked like a destructive device. They called the police department and the Bomb Unit responded to investigate. Officers located the device, and noted that it had the same appearance as a previous device that was found on Sunday.
At this time it is unknown if the device was there on Sunday or if it was placed at a different time. The Bomb Unit rendered the device safe and will continue to investigate. No one was injured during the incident.
