A young artist at Fresno State is working in an unusual medium to create an ambitious new project.

Jonathan Brilliant is known for using coffee sticks to create his sculptures. He's currently working on a piece that incorporates more than 30,000 of the coffee stirrers, but no glue.

His work is part of this school year's theme for the university's Center for Creativity and the Arts Program. Officials say the public is welcome to stop by the campus library to see this stir-stick masterpiece between 10:00 .am. and 5:00 p.m.

Admission, not unlike the stir sticks at Starbucks, is free.
