Live music, pools, cabanas, a volleyball court and 400 tons of sand. You would think you were on a tropical island, but the party destination is in the middle of Downtown Fresno. It took construction workers hours to put the tropical scene together. It is all for Club One Casino's first annual Summer Splash Beach Party. The three day party has shut down Van Ness Avenue. Fresno Police will be on scene to control potential traffic and chaos.
An important note: the event is only for people 21 and older. It will last until Sunday, August 14th. Admission is $10. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Fresno Pal and Fresno First Steps Home.
