Some tense moments Wednesday at a Clovis High School, after a suspicious device was found on campus,
Shortly before classes started at Buchanan High School, a custodian found a device that he didn't recognize. He immediately called school officials who notified police and a portion of the school was blocked off.
It later turned out to be a piece of exercise equipment that was left behind by a local fitness instructor who holds a morning class on campus.
School officials say they will always act on the side of caution when a suspicious device is found.
Parents were notified through the schools calling system.
