A Teacher Recruitment Fair is being held at the Convention Center's New Exhibit Hall on Thursday. It is open to Fresno State's credential candidates, intern prospects and alumni. Forty districts, from as far away as Ukiah, Sunnyvale and Arroyo Grande were on site and interviewing aspiring educators. Organizers say it's a very convenient way to match candidates with districts.
Diana Dille a Career Counselor at Fresno State said, "This is an opportunity for students who are unfamiliar with the whole job search process. They can come to this event and interview with six, eight or ten districts all in one place, all in one day."
The Teacher Recruitment Fair is scheduled to continue until 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
