A Colorado teen's alleged plan to prank his friends at a theater by wearing a Joker mask instead sent moviegoers racing from the building Sunday night, according to Boulder police.
The 17-year-old didn’t make threats or have a weapon, according to authorities, but his appearance inside the Century Boulder Theater on 29th Street was apparently enough to trigger a frightening flashback to this past summer’s movie theater massacre in Aurora,Colo.
The teen wasn’t identified because he’s a juvenile, but police confirmed he's a part-time student at the University of Colorado.
