Opening statements are underway in a packed courtroom for the trial of two brothers accused of murder.
Jared and Jerry Beard entered not guilty pleas back in May. They're being tried in the shooting deaths of Brandon Moore and Justin Hesketh.
Back in December, investigators say the Beard brothers exchanged mean looks with the victims at a traffic stop. It led to a chase that ended at a pool in nearby apartments.
Prosecutors says the death penalty is now off the table in this case.
