Triple Amputee Veteran Competes in Grueling Obstacle Race

It took Marine Corporal Todd Love just over five hours to complete the 10.5 mile Super Spartan race on a course studded with over 75 obstacles.

That's a feat in and of itself, but Love takes it to an entirely new level of hardcore: The 22-year-old veteran is a triple amputee, losing both legs and his left arm to a landmine in Afghanistan (this is a man so hardcore he wrestles alligators in his free time).

Love was part of Team X-T.R.E.M.E. who competed in honor of wounded veterans and — on top of everything else — they wore gas masks that restricted their breathing for the entire race.
