Tulare Health Worker Arrested for Sexual Assault of Patients

A valley man who serves as a mental health worker at Cypress Mental Health in Visalia has been arrested for sexually assaulting two patients at the facility.

Timothy Pohl, of Tulare, was arrested at his home on Tuesday after the two patients, both women, came forward to authorities to report the allegations.

He is being charged with assault with intent to commit to a sexual assault, lew act on a dependent person by a caretaker, and additional charges related to sexual assault.

Authorities say Pohl has been employed with Cypress Mental Health since April of 2012.
