Visalia BMX rider Brooke Crain crashed during her seeding run at the London Olympics on Wednesday but still managed to qualify for the semifinals.

Crain appeared to clip the rear wheel on a ramp and lost control of her bike, slamming her chest onto the next ramp. She remained motionless on the ground for a about a minute before getting up to finish the race.

Although she finished the ride, she was listed in the final standings as DNF (Did Not Finish).

She will ride again as the 8th seed in a semi-final on Thursday.

Crain was a late replacement on the U.S. team.
