Vandals Target Neighborhood Vehicles, Police Need Public's Help Locating Suspect

Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer is asking for the public’s help in solving a vandalism spree that damaged over 20 vehicles over the weekend.

On Saturday, September 8, 2012, between the hours of 4 and 6 a.m., unknown suspect(s) on foot in the area boarder by East Weldon Avenue, E. Normal Avenue, North Chestnut Avenue and North Maple Avenue vandalized over 20 vehicles parked on the streets. The subject(s) stabbed the tires on the street side of the vehicle with an unknown object. A few of the vehicles also sustained scratches into the paint with an unknown object.
