According to reports, 42 people were injured on the train. They suffered minor to moderate injuries and were taken to several different hospitals.
Hospital officials say they're dealing with head injuries, scrapes and bruises. Witnesses tell us there were also broken bones and gashes. They also say after the impact there was a lot of panic and confusion
Tara Harron witnessed the accident and said, "It looked sad. They were all hurt. Broken arms, shoulders, hurt backs, just barely walking. Some were okay, walked off with no injuries, but a lot of people were hurt."
Hospital officials say some patients will have to stay overnight.
