On Monday morning at about 10:30 a.m. the Chase Bank branch at 5151 W. Goshen was robbed by a man who entered the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money. The suspect left on foot after the teller gave him the cash.

Minutes later officers saw a man walking in a neighborhood northwest of the robbery location. He matched the description of the suspected bank robber and was eventually identified by several witnesses.

All the bank's money was recovered and 24-year-old Sang Van Nguyen was booked into the Tulare County Jail.
