The Central Valley Tea Party is teaming up with a new organization to help fight voter fraud.

The Citizens Against Voter Fraud addressed nearly 600 people Thursday night at New Covenant Church in Fresno.

The purpose was to raise awareness of the issue of fraud and find effective solutions.

To get across their message, they quoted the words of Joseph Stalin, who said, "It's not who votes that counts. It's who counts the vote that counts."

They also spoke about Fresno's Darlene Holland, who is accused of forging signatures on election documents.

Speakers urged listeners to be volunteer poll watchers, if they're concerned about voter fraud.

Correction: It was brought to our attention more than 100 people attended the event.
