Washington Mom Abandons Children on Side of Highway

Shannon Marie Germantown, 27, was charged with negligent driving in Washington but is likely to face child endangerment and abandonment arrests in Idaho. She allegedly abandoned her sons on Tuesday morning.

A Washington mother has been arrested after she left her two young sons at the side of a busy highway in Idaho.

Shannon Marie Germantown, who also goes by Shannon Marie Duval, was charged with negligent driving in Washington but is likely to face child endangerment and abandonment arrests in Idaho.

It is believed that the 27-year-old told her sons, aged three and six, that she was leaving to get gas and would return later.
