Pennsylvania cops hunting for a 28-year-old woman who skipped out on two court dates found her hiding in a suitcase in her home, the Reading Eagle reported.

Charley Fretz was supposed to appear before a Reading judge on May 30 and June 4 to face fraud, theft and drug charges. She never showed, so police went to her house on Wednesday.

Fretz was on her front steps when police arrived, but she ran inside and locked herself in a second-floor room, the Eagle said. Cops broke down the door and initially found the room empty. They eventually found her curled up inside a suitcase behind her bed.

Police said Fretz's boyfriend was in the room and zipped her inside the case before he leaped out the window.
