(Press Release) On Saturday morning at about 3:15 a.m., Fresno Police officers responded to a home near Belmont and Orchard Avenues a report of two shooting victims. When officers arrived, they found a 49-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to their legs. The married couple was sleeping in their bed when shots were fired into their bedroom from a window. Both victims were treated and released from Community Regional Medical Center.
Detectives responded to the home and identified 24-year-old Lisa Alarcon as the person they believe is responsible for the shooting. Police say she is the daughter of the victims, and according to statements, she was at the home earlier in the evening and was upset with her parents.
Lisa Alarcon is outstanding and wanted for two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
