      <title>Body Of Fallen Soldier Returns Home</title>

      <description>The body of a fallen soldier from Merced returned home from Iraq Friday. &#xD;
Servicemen carried the casket that held the body of Private First-Class Lukas Hopper. &#xD;
Hopper was killed in Iraq when his vehicle rolled over last week. &#xD;
The 20 year old had been in Iraq for more than a year, and was just nine days away from coming home before the accident. &#xD;
A public viewing will be held at Stratford Evans Funeral Home in Merced from 4 to 7 Friday night, and from 8am to 10am Saturday morning. &#xD;
A funeral will follow Saturday's viewing. &#xD;
Hopper will be buried at Cathy's Valley Cemetery.</description>

      <title>Convoy of Hope Heads to Southwest Fresno</title>

They'll be handing out 160,000 lbs. of food, in addition to providing health services, haircuts, a carnival, and employment services. Organizers say this could be the most volunteers they've had at an event, and that they'll be ready to serve an expected 15,000. If you're attending, coordinators ask that you take advantage of the free parking at Chukchansi Park, and take a shuttle to the event.</description>

Public Utilities officials say if your water usage is at a constant pace, you won't see much difference, but that you will see a seasonal fluctuation. The city gave the public one last opportunity to protest the metered rates.</description>

      <title>Suspect in Officer Involved Shooting Arrested</title>

      <description>After hours of searching for a man involved in an officer involved shooting, the suspect is now behind bars. &#xD;
22 year old Dedrick Mitchell was found at around 1am in an apartment in the 2000 block of South Chance.&#xD;
Police say that is the area where Mitchell tried to rob a food vendor before police intervened. &#xD;
Mitchell was struck by the officer’s bullets multiple times, and had to be treated at an area hospital after the arrest. &#xD;
He is now in the Fresno County Jail.</description>
