(NBC) Florida deputies spotted an endangered Key Deer with a bag of Doritos over its head early Sunday. Deputy Joshua Gordon removed the bag from the deer's head and snapped a photo of it, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office said.

Two Crime Stoppers tips helped nab a Visalia parolee who was involved in series of robberies. Robbery Detective Brandi Phebus identified Anthony Garcia, 33, of Farmersville, as the person responsible for the Auto Zone robberies and Jack in the Box robbery.

One man has died after authorities say he drowned in the San Joaquin River. Fresno Sheriff's deputies say the man was with friends on the river near Mendota, close to the intersection of San Mateo and Whitesbridge.

Fire Scorches 15 Acres at Yosemite Lakes
Firefighters took care of a grass fire in Yosemite Lakes Park. The fire started around noon near Road 400. Several air tankers and fire crews were called in. The fire burned a total of 15 acres and was contained fairly quickly. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Three people are being questioned after a huge marijuana bust in a Fresno neighborhood. Deputies say the dope could have been worth millions. Two homes had multiple grow sites on their property. It happened on Montecito near Clovis Avenue in Fresno. Investigators were on the scene for hours.
