An emotional day at Fort Hood military base, as President Obama, family and friends paid their respects to the fallen American heroes killed in last week’s shooting rampage.
Thousands gathered in Texas for a memorial service in honor of the 13 people shot and killed by a fellow soldier.
The suspect, Major Nadil Hasan, remains in the hospital.
Investigators are looking into whether he may have been influenced by Muslim extremists, who encouraged violence against American troops.
