Jeff Eben to join Fresno mayoral race
Fresno deputy mayor Jeff Eben is expected to announce his candidacy for Fresno mayor Thursday afternoon, making him the seventh candidate in the race thus far. Eben was appointed deputy mayor last May. Prior to that, he worked the education field for 27 years and was the principal at Clovis East High School before he retired and then accepted the deputy mayor position. Eben's last known residence was in Clovis, but any candidate for mayor must reside in Fresno in order to run. Eben's announcement will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Security Bank Building at 1060 Fulton Mall. Most PopularMore Good StuffAdvertisement
