Both candidates are giving it everything they've got.
Today, Henry T. Perea rallied at Fresno State, while his opponent Ashley Swearengin campaigned and received a new endorsement.
After 12 long months, Fresno mayoral candidates Ashley Swearengin and Henry T. Perea continue to pound the pavement, looking to win-over those last minute undecided voters.
Today, Swearengin focused on jobs and the economy, while gaining the support of John Shegerian, the CEO of Fresno based Electronic Recyclers.
The company is known for hiring and giving individuals with a criminal past a second chance at life.
While Swearengin was campaigning at Electronic Recyclers, her opponent Henry T. Perea rallied a crowd at Fresno State, impressing upon students, the importance of voting in tomorrow's election.
But which candidate will deliver the best change.
Both talk about bolstering public safety, improving air quality and creating new jobs.
Perea says with 6 years on the Fresno City Council, he's best equipped to move the city forward.
But Swearengin boasts about her being a political outsider and says moving Fresno forward, means moving past old politics.
If the June primary was any indication of how close this race for mayor could be, Perea edging Swearengin by just 215 votes, many believe, it’s this runoff election that could prove to be even tighter.
