Fresno police officers go through days of training to prepare for unpredictable situations in the field.

Six Fresno police officers have been shot in the line of duty since July 2006. That's the same number of FPD officers wounded by gunfire in the last two decades.

In this KSEE 24 News Special Assignment, Catherine Mylinh takes a look at the dangers our officers face every day and the training they undergo so they'll be prepared if they're caught in the line of fire.
